Last Friday and Saturday, ladies have been networking at the first forum for active women
Jump organized by Isabella Lenarduzzi. What a great initiative, what a great opportunity to grow and to share! During two days, active women could attend conferences and workshops on topics varying from how to negotiate your salary to how to live full of energy.
Pink was the color of the day and it felt truly feminine. Sweets on the tables, healthy buffet, light drinks, it really felt like a woman’s world.
I attended with Caroline Maerten, the now renowned author of Rolling Talks. We both enjoyed the excitement of entrepreneurship in such a stimulating environment. I personally can only wish that this event will take place next year, even bigger, even greater and if I can make one suggestion, it would be that the conferences and workshops are more action oriented.
Maybe that forum could position itself in a more focused way in the future and chose to tackle either the employed woman or entrepreneur woman. It sure sounds as a great opportunity to stimulate creativity, independence, entrepreneurship for women and still live a balanced and healthy life like Sylvie Irzi from MSN Belgium and Melanie Cervesato founder of Just and Only have brilliantly demonstrated.
No, this is not a feminist world, on the contrary it is one where the women are seeking ways to grow while remaining the wives, girlfriends, mothers they wish to be and contribute to a better future.
